David Lynch introduced me to the otherworldly, and embracing it permitted me to better embrace myself. Love, fear,
desire, curiosity, confusion—the balance of light and dark—everything involved with being human has since become richer, and I’ve become more alive.
Few artists have shaped my life so.
The weird, the unusual, and the unknown qualities of life, the universe, and the mind cease to be things I fear. They’ve become the most fascinating
areas to explore, and the urge to express this exploration through images and sounds is who I am at the most fundamental level.
I've been exposed to the ocean of mystery, creativity, and freedom that exists in my unconscious mind, and I'm sure I’d have continued suppressing it were it
not for such profound art. I can now nurture my relationship with my unconscious,
I can better explore and interpret my mind, and I can be closer to wholeness in my existence because I’ve embraced the work of David Lynch.
